Rising Tides Halifax
Where Businesses Rise Together.

A Different Kind of Business Network

Rising Tides was created for professionals who believe business growth happens through trust, contribution, and meaningful relationships — not pressure, quotas, or forced referrals.

Meet the People Behind Rising Tides

Rising Tides was created by a group of established business owners, professionals, and entrepreneurs who take pride in their work, their reputation, and the relationships they build.

After being part of both paid and free networking groups, we realized many were either too restrictive, too transactional, or too focused on growing the group itself instead of helping members grow their businesses.

So we decided to chart a different course: a supportive, relationship-first community where experienced professionals can connect with purpose, share knowledge, solve problems together, and help one another rise.

Our Mission

To support the growth of our members through meaningful relationships, shared knowledge, and intentional collaboration.

Our Vision

A trusted circle of professionals who actively invest in one another’s success, creating a community where business growth and personal development go hand in hand.

What Guides the Group

Rising Tides is designed around contribution, clarity, and trust. These principles shape how members show up and how the group grows together.

Relationships First

We build trust before transactions. Strong relationships are the foundation of everything we do.

Give More Than You Take

We show up with a mindset of contribution, whether through support, insight, or opportunity.

Be Intentional

We don’t just attend. We engage, participate, and look for meaningful ways to support others.

Growth Mindset

We are here to improve our businesses, our skills, and how we show up for others.

Respect Time & Energy

We value efficiency, clear communication, and showing up prepared.

What Members Can Expect

Participation

Attend consistently, contribute when you have something meaningful, and engage in discussions and education segments.

Contribution

Look for ways to support other members through connections, feedback, ideas, opportunities, and encouragement.

Communication

Be concise, respectful of time, and purposeful. The room works best when everyone brings clarity and intention.

A Community Built to Help Members Rise

Success looks like strong relationships, visible collaboration, shared wins, consistent attendance, and members who feel supported — not pressured.
